Project Summary:

The power measurement system is designed based on a MSP430F6779 Polyphase Phase Metering SOC. It is used to measure the energy flowing in different branches of a power supply network. The PCBA is designed to fit inside a Distribution box besides a Miniature Circuit breaker.

Voltage samples are fed to the board through a Potential transformer and voltage divider arrangement. Current samples are fed through a current transformer. The MSP430 MCU applies a digital signal processing algorithm to compute power and other parameters.
